Texans Fan Falls 5 Stories From Escalator To His Death

HOUSTON (AP) - Police in Houston say the fan who died at last night's NFL preseason game at Reliant Stadium was a 25-year-old man who tumbled off an escalator from the fifth floor to the ground floor.

They say the circumstances of the fall are still under investigation.

Witnesses got the attention of Houston police officers after the man fell, and he was taken to a hospital, where he died.

The fall came during a game between the Houston Texans and the Minnesota Vikings.

Last year, a firefighter attending a Texas Rangers game in Arlington died when he fell from the left field stands while reaching for a baseball that had been tossed his way by a player.
