FALLON, NV - Fallon police are on the lookout for a one-of-a-kind horse bit stolen from a business there over the weekend, and the family that owns it is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the bit's return.

The bit is one of several things taken over the weekend of June 21/22, but as it was made by a family member and has special value, the family very much wants it back. They believe with the rodeo in Reno this week, someone may be trying to pawn it.

It was made in 2009 for the Traditional Cowboy Arts Association show in Oklahoma. It is specially and individually engraved.

A picture is attached to this story; if you come across it or have information, please call Fallon police at 775-423-2111, or call Drew at 775-423-6169.
