MINDEN, NV - An exhibit honoring our brave servicemembers killed in Iraq and Afghanistan since 9-11 is on display in Minden.

The exhibit is called "Always Lost: A Meditation on War" and is currently on tour at the historic Minden Inn. Though the photos might be graphic it was an exhibit officials from Douglas County needed to have.

"It was important for us to bring to bring this exhibit here because we wanted to honor the Veterans,” said Melissa Blosser.

There is a photo wall featuring Servicemembers killed in action from two wars since 9-11. They are former squad members, classmates, sons ,daughters and locals, such as Anthony Schober from Reno.

Above one of the photos on display is a quote from Shakespeare "We few, we happy few, we band of brothers. For he today that sheds his blood with me, shall be my brother."

The exhibit is free and runs through Friday, September 12, 2014, in Minden. There are extended hours Thursday, 8 a.m. until 8 p.m.
