“I’m sick! I'm just so sick about what happened and I’m just scared about what happened to the puppies,” says 77-year-old Betty Goss.

Goss was promised a car repair in exchange for $700 but instead was left with an empty purse and minus three valuable puppies.

Police say it happened around 5 p.m., Tues., when Goss received a knock on her door by three men offering to fix her damaged car in her garage in exchange for money.

Goss agreed to the deal and paid the suspects $700, up front, in cash. During that time, one of the suspects asked to use her bathroom which is where Goss says he stuffed three of the Shih Tzu puppies into his jacket and headed outside.

With the money and the purebred female Shih Tzu puppies in hand, the suspects fled the scene in a black Chevy pickup.

The puppies were described as two black and white, and one gold and white.

Goss was not injured during this incident but she is still shaken up. “I just don’t know what to think, I’m just in shock. I’m just in shock.”

Reno Police are asking for your help in finding the three suspects.
They are described as follows:

Suspect #1: Hispanic male, age 28-30
Suspect#2: Hispanic male, age 30-35 (skinny)
Suspect #3: Hispanic male, age 45-48
Suspect Vehicle: Chevy pickup, black in color.

The public is reminded to be very cautious of unlicensed door-to-door solicitors, and to always ask for license information and contact numbers.

The practice of paying for work in advance is highly discouraged, and payment should only occur after satisfied work completion.

The citizens of Reno should never allow unknown contacts or workers into their homes, and you should never discuss items of value inside your home.

Secret Witness is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspects. If you have any information that could help find the suspects, please call Secret Witness at 322-4900.

I do believe that white, black and hispanics are mention on the news everyday but ignorant people are alway funding a way to point the finger on the other. Just stop and grow up. Hispanics are "NOT" going back to where ever you think they should go to. This is there home whether you like/approve.
@kolo8...please stop allowing racial comments.

I agree, Scott. Democrats always play the race card. Big surprise.
