The Reno Passport magazine is closing its doors after more than three years in our area.
The monthly magazine highlighted everything from ski resort deals to great restaurants in our area, has decided to stop printing.
The magazine's sales director says they're just not making enough money to keep it going through next year, and they want to end on a high note.
The free magazine featured a lot of first time articles from UNR and TMCC grads, about everything from local restaurants, bars, music, entertainment and community events.
Ii think we're most proud of the opportunities we provided a lot of the writers and the photographers, and different artists that we covered to give them a platform to build their portfolios and get the exposure they need to get to the next level," said Steve White, Sales Director and CEO of Reno Passport Journal.
Those involved in Reno Passport say, even if the economy improves, they do not plan on starting it up again. They're hoping to pursue individual projects.
