RENO STEAD AIRPORT, NV - Governor Brian Sandoval along with several other elected officials gathered at the Reno Stead Airport Tuesday afternoon to announce a new drone-based company that is headed to Reno.
The company is expected to bring 400 jobs to the area.
In late December of 2013, the FAA cleared the way for drone testing in Nevada when it declared the state one of six drone testing sites.
The Stead Airport, along with several other locations around Nevada, have been named as locations where testing where occur.
