CARSON CITY, Nev. -- A driver who hit a shopping cart with a baby inside has been arrested and is suspected of driving under the influence.
Carson City Sheriff's Officials say it happened in the parking lot of Smith's Food and Drug Saturday night. The baby was in a cart pushed by the mother when the driver crashed into them.
The baby was taken to the hospital in Reno by Careflight. No word on the severity of the baby's injuries.
