Reno police have issued an arrest warrant for a suspect involved in the fatal downtown shooting that killed one man and injured three.

RPD is looking for 25-year-old Arturo Bolanos in connection with the shooting outside of the Freight House in downtown Reno.

According to Reno Police 28-year-old Macario Ortiz was fatally shot around 3:15 a.m., Oct.1, on East 2nd Street outside the Freight House District.

RPD found three people with gunshot wounds, when a suspect opened fire with an assault rifle on a group of people leaving in a car.

Police think it all started as a fight inside the Freight House District, and moved into a parking garage on 2nd Street.

Shortly after the shooting, police say someone in a blue car, possibly a Honda, stopped by the Reno Police Department and told an officer about a person they spotted running eastbound on E. 2nd Street near the main station.

Police have not released the names of the other victims.

Police are still looking for Bolanos. Anyone with information is asked to call Secret Witness at 322-4900.
