Two-year-old Connor Lawrence and his great grandmother were remembered at a candlelight vigil at the Sparks Marina on Monday.
"He was just full of love and Lana just had a heart bigger than this town," Barbara Moran, Stone's best friend, said.
Authorities allege Justin Ouimet wanted to hurt his estranged wife's family in September. They said Ouimet has confessed to the murders.
A group of people gathered and held candles on what would have been Lawrence's third birthday.
