HAWTHORNE,NEV-- The Mineral County Sheriff's Department has arrested an Oregon man who had 11.5 pounds of marijuana in his car.
Deputies say around 9:15 p.m. Friday night, NHP pulled over a car with its headlights off on E Street.
Deputies say the driver, 61-year-old Charles Jezzini from Gold Hill Oregon had an outstanding warrant.
Deputies than searched Jezzini's car where they discovered 11.5 pounds of Marijuana. They believe he was on his way to Las Vegas to sell the pot.
Jezzini faces charges including possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell, transporting a controlled substance, having an outstanding warrant, and driving without headlights.
He's being held on $27,630 bail.
