Debate Eve: Romney Says He Might Cut Deductions

DENVER (AP) - Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney says he might be willing to reduce income tax deductions for home mortgage interest and health care costs.

Romney tells a TV station in Denver (KDVR) that the changes would be part of a plan that includes a 20 percent cut in tax rates across the board.

Romney and President Barack Obama will come face-to-face Wednesday night in their first debate in Denver.
