DAYTON, NV - Three people have died in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 50 in Dayton, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.
The crash happened about 3:30PM Wednesday at Six-Mile Canyon Road.
Troopers say an F150 was headed east on 50 and drifted into the westbound lanes, hitting a Camry sedan. The F150 driver, 73-year-old Ellis Erwin of Dayton, and passenger, 72-year-old Louise Erwin of Dayton, were pronounced dead on scene, as was 43-year-old Michelle Stratton of Dayton, the driver of the Camry.
Traffic was restricted in the area for several hours, but was fully back open around 9PM.
