It started with a diabetes diagnosis when Kylie McPeak was three. Then, something else happened.

"She had a seizure, and then about two weeks after that, she developed a twitch on her cheek," said Steven McPeak, Kylie's father.

At first, doctors didn't believe that Kylie was ill. But she's slowly been getting worse. The twitch spread to the rest of her face and her body, and even affects her speech. But doctors can't seem to figure out what's causing it.

"We've pretty much stumped every doctor we've ever seen," said Steven McPeak.

Kylie has been to specialists all over the country. She's even a part of the National Institute of Health's Undiagnosed Disease Program. But still, no answers.

Through all of the doctor's visits, IV's, needles and exams, Kylie has kept a positive attitude.

But even without a diagnosis, the illness is taking a toll on more than just Kylie's health.

"We have over $60,000 in medical bills, and her prescriptions each month are at least five hundred dollars," said Gina McPeak, Kylie's mom.

When the owner of Dad's Quik Mart in Sparks heard Kylie's story, he and his employees decided to buy a quad and raffle it off to raise money for her.

The quad is worth $5,800 and for $10 a raffle ticket, anyone could have the chance to win it, and other prizes this Saturday. The money will go to help Kylie.

"Well, this little girl is a little sweetheart, you know I mean, we just fell in love with her, the owner of the store really fell in love with her," said Assistant Manager Jerry Mau.

And Kylie's family couldn't be more grateful for the help.

"For them to go out of their way to do all this for us just absolutely blew us away," said Steven McPeak.

So far, Dad's Quik Mart has sold about 1,100 tickets.

In case you're interested in helping out, there's still time to get tickets before the raffle this Saturday.

That raffle will be from 11 AM to 1 PM at Dad's Quik Mart at Los Altos and Sparks Boulevard, in Sparks.

Also available for the raffle is $500 in cash, a couple of skateboards, hoodies, backpacks, a stuffed animal, cases of the energy drink, Rockstar, and some skis.

If you would like to help the McPeak family, you can visit Kylie's webpage, http://www.kyliemcpeak.com/, and click on "donate."

You can also donate at any branch of US Bank. You can put money in an account in Kylie's name. Just give them this account number to make a deposit: 153754398656.
