Woman Rescued from Truckee River

RENO, NV - A woman is rescued from the Truckee River after she was found clinging to a rock.

The woman was in the river at Winter Street and Riverside for recreational purposes, according to Reno Fire Department.

The group she was with called the Reno Fire Department at 10:18 a.m. after she stopped responding to them, according to the Reno Fire Department.

Crews quickly responded with river swimmers and walked the woman out of the river, according to the Reno Fire Department.

The woman was treated on scene by REMSA, according to the Reno Fire Department.
