RENO, Nev. -- A crash shut down Lemmon Dr. Saturday and sent two people to the hospital.

It happened in the late morning at the intersection with Military Rd. A Reno Police Department (RPD) official says two vehicles, a small sedan and a pickup, were involved.

A Care Flight crew took the passenger from the sedan to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. However, police say that person may have a head injury which needs further assessment.

Emergency workers also took the pickup truck driver to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) personnel are on scene conducting an investigation. The intersection will be closed for a number of hours during that process.

RPD officials suggest Stead Blvd. as an alternative route through the area.
