MINDEN, NV - The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a head-on crash on SR 207/Kingsbury Grade halfway way down on the valley side.

The crash happened about 12:45PM Thursday, and the road was closed for about two hours.

There's no word yet on the severity of injuries, but Care Flight and CalStar helicopters transported the driver of each SUV to Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno. The drivers were the only people in the vehicles.

NHP Trooper Dave Gibson says the driver of one of the SUVs crossed a center line and hit the other SUV, which caught fire. Neither driver's name has been released.
