RENO - Wolf Pack forward Cole Huff has decided to transfer from Nevada.
Huff averaged 12.4 points and 5.4 rebounds per game this season as a sophomore. He improved more than anyone on the team from his freshman year, when he averaged 4.3 points and 3.3 rebounds per game.
"Cole Huff has been a good player for us," said head coach David Carter in a statement. "He and I have talked and he has indicated a desire to play closer to home. While shocked and disappointed by his decision, we wish him the best."
Huff is from Altadena, California.
The Wolf Pack lost four players to transfer last year. Jordan Finn, Jordan Burris, Devonte Elliott and Kevin Panzer all moved on to other schools.
