SPARKS, NV - Sparks police anticipate extra charges against a man they arrested after a chase in May.

Police say May 30, 2014, they tried to stop what they call a suspicious vehicle. The driver of that Chrysler ran off, leading officers on a chase, but they stopped because of an increased danger to the public. The driver of the vehicle was tentatively identified at that time as Robert Kimmell.

The next day, the vehicle was located and confirmed to be stolen out of Reno. June 11, Kimmell was located at a local Wal-Mart and arrested.

Kimmell was booked in the WCSO jail for eluding and possession of a stolen vehicle. Police say more charges are expected to be filed against Kimmell in the near future.
