Celebrities Send Word to Tornado Victims

RENO, Nev. -- Celebrities are coming forward to send support and words of encouragement to people and communities affected by Monday's tornado near Oklahoma City.

Country music star Toby Keith is from Moore, OK, the hardest hit area. He left this message on his website (tobykeith.com): "Hometown got hit for the gazillionth time. Rise again Moore Oklahoma. Godspeed. Prayin - T"

Reba McEntire, also a country star from Oklahoma, tweeted (@reba), "All my prayers go out to the folks in Oklahoma dealing with these tornado[e]s. Stay safe everyone!!!!"

Miranda Lambert, country singer and wife of Oklahoma native Blake Shelton, tweeted (@mirandalambert), "Pray. That's all we an do. Pray for peace for Oklahoma."

Singer, actress Kristin Chenoweth tweeted (@KChenoweth), "Praying for my fellow Oklahomans!" and "Please everyone, pray for Oklahoma!"

Country singer and Food Network star Trisha Yearwood posted on her official Facebook page (www.facebook.com/TrishaYearwood), "#PrayForOklahoma. Pray for everyone devastated by these storms, but especially for those families in Moore, OK right now...God, wrap your arms around this community."

Singer Carrie Underwood posted on her Facebook site (www.facebook.com/carrieunderwood), "I'm thinking about and praying for my beautiful home state and the people in it tonight."

Former NFL quarterback and current football commentator Troy Aikman tweeted (@TroyAikman), "So thankful my sister and family are safe in Norman but my thoughts and prayers go out to all those impacted by the storms in Oklahoma."
