Carson Valley Seeks Storyteller on Horseback

MINDEN, Nev. (AP) - The Carson Valley Visitors Authority is looking for one horse-savvy woman with an outgoing personality to sell the region to the world.

The search for a horseback riding storyteller is being advertised on national job websites. The ad touts, "saddle up for the job of a lifetime."

Applicants must be at least 21 years old and able to ride a horse.

Though billed as the job of a lifetime, the pay doesn't mean early retirement.

The rider will be compensated with a "salary of real experiences," - and a four-night, five-day stay in the Carson Valley, courtesy of the participating sponsors.

Interested applicants should submit a personal video, no longer than five minutes, explaining why they should be the Carson Valley rider.

Details are on the visitor authority's website, .
