CARSON CITY, Nev. -- Search and Rescue Crews out of Carson City located a hiker who was called authorities after she took a fall in the Ash Canyon Road area.
Carson City Fire Battalion Chief John Arneson tells KOLO 8 News Now the woman said she had taken a short fall off of the trail. She had a cell phone with her and called for help around 6pm.
When rescue crews found her, she complained of neck and head pain and was not entirely coherent. Care Flight took her to a Reno hospital.
There may have been another person, a man, in the area. Due to the woman's mental state, fire officials say they are unsure if the man was with the woman or not. Sheriff's officials are trying to find the man to get more information.
