CARSON CITY, NV - An update on the Carson City toddler who was rushed to a hospital last weekend.
Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong tells KOLO the little boy has died.
The toddler was found unconscious at his home on Long Street Saturday night.
Furlong says the little boy was taken to the hospital on two prior occasions; however, no reports were ever made by the hospital to Child Protective Services that those visits were suspicious.
The Sheriff's Office has started a routine death investigation with an autopsy on the 18-month-old scheduled for Friday.
The boy's father and his girlfriend are cooperating, though her two other children have been taken by CPS.
