McCarran Boulevard at Nichols has reopened to traffic after a vehicle accident involving a pedestrian. Sparks Police say the incident occurred at around 5:40 p.m., with that area of the road closed off temporarily. Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating the incident, and updated information will be provided as soon as it becomes available.
