RENO, NV - Reno police say a man crashed a car outside the U.S. Bank on South Virginia and Liberty Street in downtown Reno early Friday morning.

Police say there is a possibility that the man had been drinking before he got behind the wheel.

The crash happened just before 3:00 a.m.

The driver was injured when he crashed, and was taken to a hospital. It's unclear if anyone else was hurt.

Original calls to police stated that the car may have crashed into the bank, but the damage was less significant that previously thought.
