SPARKS, NV.--A car crashed into an apartment at 615 Lincoln Way Sunday afternoon. Sparks Police say two children were inside the apartment at the time of the accident.

Police say 46-year-old Delmy Ramirez was trying to park her car in the complex, but failed to stop. Her car first hit an air conditioner connected to one of the apartments, the air conditioner then went into the living room area of an apartment.

Police say that air conditioner hit a child inside the apartment. Sparks Fire and REMSA checked out the children and those in the apartment, they say no one was hurt.

Ramirez was issued a citation for careless driving. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash.
