RENO, NV - For years, cell phone service in the Main Lodge area of Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe has been notoriously bad, but those visiting this season will be pleasantly surprised to finally find a signal at the resorts main gathering points.
According to a press release, AT&T recently installed a new tower that provides improved coverage, not only in the Main Lodge, but on the Slide Side at Winters Creek.
This new addition should help skiers and riders better communicate with friends and family while using the resort.
Also, to better serve visitors, Mt. Rose has mapped out coverage all over the mountain and broken it down by individual service providers. You can check their website to see where your phone reception may be spotty.
As for WiFi, free access is available in both the Main and Winters Creek Lodges, and according the resort the best places to use it are in the Lodgepole Café and Mountain View Dining Areas.
