RENO, NV - All lanes of Interstate 80 east of Sparks are back open and a brush fire, burning near the Wadsworth exit, has been contained.

The Nevada Highway Patrol had closed one eastbound lane between Painted Rock and Wadsworth to make room for emergency vehicles.

Firefighters say the fire burned about 15 acres and started around 2:30 Tuesday afternoon. Crews were in the area throughout the night mopping up, to make sure the fire didn't spark back up. No cause has been determined.

No structures were ever in danger.
