RENO, Nev. -- A bomb threat shut down the Walmart in Winnemucca for more than an hour this weekend.

Winnemucca Police Capt. Bill Dalley tells KOLO 8 News Now an unknown person called the Walmart Saturday evening and said a bomb was inside the store. At about 8pm, Winnemucca Police officers, along with Humboldt County Sheriff and Nevada Highway Patrol officers, evacuated the store and searched it for any suspicious devices.

They did not find any bombs or suspicious devices, and the Walmart was allowed to re-open around 10pm.

The incident is still under investigation and officials are still working to identify a suspect.
