RENO, NV - The body of Johnny Blunk, the 26-year-old Navy vet from Reno who was killed in the Colorado shooting massacre, will be coming home this Friday.

His family tells KOLO 8 News Now that a plane carrying Blunk's body is scheduled to arrive at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport at 6:35 that evening.

His funeral will take place the following Friday at the Mountain View Mortuary.

It was a week ago Blunk was watching the new Batman movie at the century theater in Aurora, Colorado when suspected gunman James Holmes allegedly opened fire, killing Blunk and 11 others.

Our community has really pitched in to help his wife and two young kids who still live in Sparks try to raise money for a military burial. If you'd like to donate, there's a fund set up at Wells Fargo Bank.
