Body Found After Shed Fire Extinguished; Foul Play Not Suspected

RENO, NV - Reno police and fire crews are investigating a body found once a fire was extinguished.

Firefighters got the call about 6AM Thursday at the house on Silver Rush Court, in the Double Diamond area. The fire started in a detached shed behind the house, and that's where the body was found. Reno police are confirming the discovery, but fire officials aren't commenting.

No one else is hurt and the house itself sustained minimal damage.

There's no word yet who the victim is or if the death is related to the fire, or how the fire started. But police say they don't suspect foul play or suspicious activity. They also say the house is occupied by a husband and wife, and only the wife is accounted for.
