RENO, NV - The bodies of seven Marines killed in a training accident in Hawthorne left Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno Wednesday afternoon on their way home.

A military motorcade, assisted by local police agencies, left Renown around 5PM, headed toward the Air National Guard base at the Reno airport. There, they were loaded onto a C17 transport.

A National Guard spokeswoman says she's not sure where the bodies would be headed, but thought it might be Dover Air Force Base in Delaware, where military bodies are often taken before they are flown back to where they will be buried.
