CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) - A state board could decide soon whether people stuck in the process of picking health coverage through Nevada's insurance exchange will be given additional time to complete their application.
The Silver State Health Insurance Exchange board meets Thursday in Carson City.
The board last week delayed a decision after many questions were raised over whether a special enrollment period was even feasible, given the numerous problems of the system that operates as Nevada Health Link.
The enrollment period to avoid possible tax penalties ends March 31. But state officials say thousands of Nevadans who have attempted to buy policies may be stuck in the system because of computer errors and other glitches.
