RENO, NV - Drivers headed toward downtown Reno had problems Wednesday evening because of Vice President Biden's motorcade.
The Nevada Highway Patrol says the Secret Service mandates what the route will be from the airport to the destination of the President or Vice President during a local visit, in Wednesday's case Mr. Biden's campaign stop at the Reno Ballroom in downtown Reno. That means ramps and exits from Interstate 80 and I-580 being sporadically shut down because of the Vice President's motorcade through Reno, and the specific information about what the route will be is not released in advance for safety reasons.
Viewers reported being stuck in traffic during the rush hour, which is when the Vice President was in town.
