Reno, Nev. - A bicyclist was taken to the hospital after first responders and witnesses say he failed to stop at a stop light, and rode into a car.
It happened around 8:30 Saturday night at the intersection of Keystone and Seventh.
According to witnesses, the bicyclist was racing across the intersection when a driver, who had the right of way, was making a left turn from Seventh onto Keystone. That bicyclist apparently slammed into the car.
First responders say the bicyclist was "pretty banged up," and is being taken to the hospital for treatment.
The accident did slow traffic at that intersection for about a half-hour. The area is now back open.
