INCLINE VILLAGE, NV - A warden with the Nevada Department of Wildlife is investigating a bear incident from Tuesday morning.
NDOW confirms a Washoe County sheriff's deputy fired at least one rubber bullet to get a bear out of a home in Incline Village. The bear got away. It's not clear how the bear got in, but residents were home at the time. Nobody is reported hurt.
NDOW says if the bear is found and determined to be a nuisance bear, defined as a bear that gets into a home, it will likely be put down.
