Two Arrested in Robbery on Denslowe Drive

RENO, NV - Two people have been arrested, accused of robbing two people at gunpoint on Denslowe Drive in Reno.

Around 8:30 Monday night, Reno police responded to 505 Denslowe Drive in reference to an armed robbery.

According to police, two victims were walking in the area when they were approached by two suspects.

One suspect was armed with a sawed-off shotgun and demanded the victim’s property. One victim handed over some property and the two robbers ran off.

During the investigation, officers determined the robbers were located at a home on the 1700 block of Stratford.

One of the two exited the home and surrendered to officers, but the other refused to exit. The Reno SWAT unit then entered the residence and locate him.

Police were able to recover the victim’s property, along with the weapon used in the armed robbery.

One of the suspects is 19-year-old John Stafford and the other suspect is a 16-year-old boy. It has not been determined which one of the suspects did what in this case.
