RENO, Nev. (AP) - Reno police are investigating a pair of armed robberies on the city's near south side.
The first one was reported about 11:15 p.m. Sunday on Lymbery Street near the Peppermill hotel-casino. Police say three suspects who appeared to be armed approached the victim and demanded money.
About 15 minutes later, a single armed suspect demanded money from a person at the Airport Plaza Hotel on Terminal Way.
Police are trying to determine if the two are connected. They say the only description witnesses could provide was that the three suspects in the first robbery were wearing dark clothing.
