SPARKS, NV - The annual Brew HaHa is returning to Sparks on Friday, January 24, 2014.

The 19th annual beer tasting and entertainment fundraiser will begin at 8:00 p.m. in the Rose Ballroom at John Ascuaga's Nugget, according to an official with the Nugget.

The official says more than 100 types of beer will be available to guests for unlimited tastings, in addition to live music by Vokab Kompany.

Money raised from Brew HaHa will benefit Sierra Arts Foundation in Northern Nevada; these funds provide support for area artists and community arts programs, such as the Arts Integration Project, the Elder Care Concert Series, and Arts in Education, according to the official.

General admission tickets allows guests to indulge in all-you-can-responsibly-enjoy beer tastings that feature more than 100 types of beer, according to the official. VIP tickets allow guests access to Brew Haha at 7:00 p.m., which includes an opportunity to speak with the brewers themselves.

Tickets can be purchased either online or by calling the Nugget at 1-800-843-2427.

General admission tickets sell for $50 and VIP tickets sell for $65. Prices will increase by $10 for guests buying tickets at the door on the day of the event.

Officials say 50 percent of the ticket purchase price is tax-deductible.
