SUN VALLEY, NV - A Sun Valley family is without a home after a fire destroyed it.

An official with the American Red Cross says the Red Cross Disaster Action Team responded to Duclercque Way in Sun Valley.

She says one adult, one child and two dogs were able to escape the burning home.

She says the American Red Cross is providing money to help the family with food and lodging.

Crews are still assessing if the house is a total loss, but one special item was recovered during the fire: the woman's wedding dress.

The official says a firefighter salvaged the wedding dress. Her wedding is in June.

The cause of the fire hasn't been determined.
