UPDATE: A notification from the Amber Alert website says both children have been found safe in Sacramento, but no more information has been released.

RENO, Nev. -- Elko Police Department officials issued a statewide Amber Alert for two children taken from Department of Child & Family Services (DCSF) custody. The email reports they may be en route to Mexico.

An Elko official says the children are 9-year-old Lillyanna Ramires and 3-year-old Martin Angel Rosales II.

Elko PD lists the incident as a "parental abduction" which occurred on August 14th.

The suspects are Martin Cisneras Rosales, 34, who is also known as 33-year-old Martin Cisneros, and 29-year-old Amber Schenck. Schenck is described as 5'9", 150 pounds with sandy hair and blue eyes.

They were known to drive a late '80s/early '90s, dark blue Ford Mustang, possibly with Nebraska or temporary plates. They were last seen in Sacramento, CA.

Rosales is the boy's biological father, and Schenck is the mother of both children. The children were in DCFS custody due to court orders indicating the children are in "danger of serious physical harm or death."

According to the Elko PD, Rosales has a warrant out and is known to have violent tendencies toward police. He also has a restraining order indicating he is to stay away from his son.
