PHOENIX (AP) - The Arizona Diamondbacks have again optioned young left-hander Tyler Skaggs to Reno and recalled two relievers from the Triple-A club.

The team also placed left-handed reliever Matt Reynolds on the 15-day disabled list with a strained left elbow Monday.

Skaggs made three starts in place of injured right-hander Brandon McCarthy and gave up five runs over five innings in a 6-2 loss to San Francisco on Sunday.

The Diamondbacks, who opened a three-game series against the Dodgers in Los Angeles on Monday night, recalled right-hander Charles Brewer and left-hander Joe Paterson from Reno.
