Accident on 580/395 at Moana Slows Traffic

RENO, Nev. -- A car crash on southbound 580/395 tied up freeway traffic in Reno early Sunday afternoon.

It happened at about noon near the Moana offramp. A Nevada Highway Patrol (NHP) representative says the vehichle hit the center divider. The man driving was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The NHP is still investigating the crash.

Several accidents have occurred in that area since major construction on the ramps began in early October.
