Driver in US 50 Crash Charged With DUI
The driver of a car involved in a head-on crash last week has been booked on several charges.

DAYTON, NV - The driver of a car involved in a head-on crash last week has been booked on several charges.
July 21st, the cars hit each other on US 50, about two miles west of Dayton. People from both cars were taken to Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno to be treated for injuries.
Highway Patrol troopers say 21-year-old driver Heidi Shellenbarger of Dayton was at fault. When she was released from Renown, she was arrested and taken to the Lyon County Jail, where she was booked on several charges:
DUI Alcohol Causing Substantial Bodily Harm (Felony)
Reckless Driving (Felony)
Possession of a Controlled Substance—Cocaine (Felony)
Fail to Maintain a Single Travel Lane (Misdemeanor)
Driving on a Suspended Driver License (Misdemeanor)
Misdemeanor Warrant for Failure to Appear
All the victims from the crash have now been discharged from Renown, but the Nevada Highway Patrol’s Major Accident Investigation Team is investigating this accident.
