A former Wolf Pack football player who police say has confessed to several armed robberies was back in court Wednesday.
Rodney Landingham is accused of robbing two banks and two convenience stores last month.
Landingham was bound over for trial on two counts of robbery with a deadly weapon.
Reno Police say he told them he committed the crimes to pay for child support and a gambling problem.
His next appearance will be in Washoe District Court.
No date has been set.
