The weather has helped firefighters get the Andrew Wildfire 75-percent contained. The fire has burned 3,000 acres southeast of Reno in the Pleasant Valley and Steamboat areas.
There are no evacuation orders issued at this time and all roads are open.
Firefighters made significant progress in fighting the fire overnight. They constructed a wide fireline overnight on the northeast and eastern flank. Crews also reinforced the fireline on the south and west flanks of the fire.
There are 555 firefighters battling the fire.
No injuries have been reported.
