Apple To Let Customers Buy Music Wirelessly In Starbucks Stores

Starbucks and Apple have a deal that will soon let people in hundreds of the coffee shops buy and download music from Apple's iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store.

When customers enter a Starbucks store, their iPod music player, iPhone or any laptop computer running iTunes will automatically recognize the wireless music store without a connection fee.

The service will roll out October second.

The Wi-Fi Music Store will be added to 350 Starbucks outlets in the San Francisco area on November seventh, 500 Starbucks in Los Angeles in early February, and 300 Starbucks in Chicago in March.

Additional markets later next year.
