Reno Police say 21 people are facing DUI charges after being arrested over Memorial Day weekend.
Thanks to some additional funding by the Northern Nevada DUI Task Force, RPD was able to beef-up their patrols over the three-day weekend.
In all, police made 87 traffic stops and conducted several field sobriety checks. By the end of Monday, 21 drivers had been cited for driving under the influence.
Police encourage everyone to have a designated driver, or use public transportation during celebrations.

nice to have safer streets... pay overtime to keep criminals from entering our houses thugs from terrorizing our citizens. or continue to lay off fire fighters and such so police can make quotas and pay their salaries...
