A man was hit and killed Thursday night after he was hit by several cars while he was riding on 395 near Lemmon Valley.
The man was actually riding his bike southbound, in the northbound lanes when one car swerved to avoid hitting him. That car crashed into an embankment. Another driver couldn't avoid the cyclist and hit him. Then, another driver hit the man. It's not known how many more drivers were unable to avoid hitting the man. He was found dead by troopers when they got to the scene. His name will be released after his family is notified.
The other drivers involved in the crash were not hurt.
NHP is asking anyone who may have seen the man riding his bike on the freeway to call them at 687-0400.
