A 19-year-old Sparks man was being sought for questioning in the suspected gang-related shooting death of another teenager, police said.
Juan Duenas, 19, died Sunday night after being shot in the abdomen earlier in the day.
Police said the victim was driving down Sullivan Lane when a man on foot flashed him some gang signals. Duenas was shot when he got out of his vehicle to confront the man.
Investigators were looking for Luis Puga for questioning.
Police said they believe he is traveling with Victor Arzate, who named in a warrant for attempted murder in another case.
