RENO, NV - A blustery day kicked up dust throughout the Reno area Wednesday evening.
"Came out of the meeting and saw the dust wondering if there was a wildland fire," one local said.
Forecasters said the dust came from eastern Lassen County, picked up by a shifting wind.
"It's disturbing all the dust in the air, all my allergies," one Reno resident said.
The dusty air filled the city and neighborhoods alike.
Even though visibility dropped to just three to five miles, motorist say it wasn't a problem.
"As of right now everything seems good I don't think it's gonna cause much conditions on the roads," another Reno resident said.
No major accidents or other problems were caused by the dust. The air cleared up after only a matter of hours..
